Race 7) 1 Mile. Acorn S. Grade I. Purse $700,000 FOR FILLIES, THREE-YEARS-OLD.
Post Time: ( 3:22)/ 2:22/ 1:22/12:22

1) Serengeti Empress (Amoss/Ortiz, I.); can’t see the game plan changing for this Alternation filly, go to the front and hold them off; quick work last week at Churchill.

7) Guarana (Brown/Ortiz, J.); wired a deep Keeneland field coasting home by 14 lengths; works suggest that win wasn’t freak effort.

9) Ce Ce (McCarthy/Espinoza); game in defeat last out at Santa Anita, leading then battling to the end; it’ll be great seeing jockey Victor Espinoza back at the Big Sandy.

5) Fancy Dress Party (Colebrook/Rosario); a perfect 4-for-4; sloppy go last out in the G3 Beaumont nearly cost her that streak.

The field for the Grade 1 Acorn Stakes:

1) Serengeti Empress (Amoss/Ortiz, I.)
2) Jeltrin (Delgado/Reyes)
3) Cookie Dough (McLaughlin/Castellano)
4) Bell’s the One (Pessin/Lanerie)
5) Fancy Dress Party (Colebrook/Rosario)
6) Proud Emma (Miller/Prat)
7) Guarana (Brown/Ortiz, J)
8) Queen of Beas (Abreu/Franco)
9 Ce Ce (McCarthy/Espinoza)

SELECTIONS: 1, 7, 9, 5
