Arlington Park

Race 6) Grade 3 Modesty Handicap F&M 1&3/16th Miles TURF Post Time 4:12 CDT

3)Simply Breathless (Drysdale/Prat); enters on a 3-race win streak, the last in the G3 Wilshire at Santa Anita.

9) Vexatious (Sisterson/Beschizza); proven graded stakes and distance player. 5-year-old’s last two at Belmont were tiring efforts going much longer so the slight cutback helps.

2) Juliet Foxtrot (Cox/Geroux); exits a couple of tough contests winning at Keeneland and placing at Churchill. Top barn has chosen the midwest for much of his stock this summer.

4) Cascanueces (Correas/Valdivia); Smart Strike filly regained a bit of her Peruvian form last out at Churchill facing a solid field of OC’s.

Selections: 3, 9, 2, 4

Race 7) Grade 3 Arlington Handicap 3yo 1&3/16th Miles TURF Post Time 4:46 CDT

5) El Picaro ( Correas/Valdivia); Chilean-bred makes his second North American start off a steady effort at Churchill.

6) Captivating Moon (Block/Marquez); blinkers off this Malibu Moon colt following back-to-back thirds; stayed close in last years G1 Secretariat here and showed in the American Derby.

7) The Great Day (Delacour/Prat); Argentinean was blocked in his North American debut; quick work tab.

2) Botswana (Combs/Murrill); in the money in each of his last six starts.

Selections: 5, 6, 7, 2

Race 8) Grade 3 American Derby 3yo 1&1/16th Miles TURF Post Time 5:19 CDT

5) Bundibunan (Correas/Valdivia); missed by a head last out, his third straight improving try; form is on the upswing.

12) Crafty Daddy (Cox/Geroux); Scat Daddy gelding has won three straight, each in game fashion.

3) Faraway Kitten (Maker/Beschizza); another top colt out of the “franchise” Kitten’s Joy; colt has won 2-of-3.

9) The Last Zip (Stidham/VanDyke); broke from the maiden ranks last out after three straight place finishes; trainer has been solid on the lawn this year.

Selections: 5, 12, 3, 9
