Three on the Turf for Friday’s Stronach 5

$100,000 Guaranteed Pool, 12-Percent Takeout

Free Past Performances, All-Star Ticket

LAUREL, MD – Friday’s Stronach 5 will have another $100,000 guaranteed pool with races from Laurel Park and Gulfstream Park.

Three of the five races are scheduled for the turf. The sequence kicks off at 4:54 with a $42,000 one mile turf event for fillies and mares at Laurel. The sequence will also include two, one mile turf races at Gulfstream. The sequence will have the eighth and ninth races from Laurel and the eighth, ninth and 10th races from Gulfstream.

The Stronach 5 also features an industry-low 12-percent takeout and free past performances.

Friday’s Stronach 5 sequence

● Leg One – Laurel Park 8th Race – (11 entries, one mile turf) 4:54 ET, 1:54 PT

● Leg Two –Laurel Park 9th Race – (9 entries, 6 ½ furlongs) 5:26 ET, 2:26 PT

● Leg Three –Gulfstream Park 8th Race – (8 entries, one mile turf) 5:31 ET, 2:31 PT

● Leg Four –Gulfstream Park 9th Race – (8 entries, 6 furlongs) 6:01 ET, 3:01 PT

● Leg Five – Gulfstream Park 10th Race – (12 entries, one mile turf) 6:31 ET, 3:31

The minimum wager on the multi-race, multi-track Stronach 5 is $1. If there are no tickets with five winners, the entire pool will be carried over to the next Friday.

For the Stronach 5, if a change in racing surface is made after the wagering closes, each selection on any ticket will be considered a winning selection. If a betting interest is scratched, that selection will be substituted with the favorite in the win pool when wagering closes.
