Stronach 5 Returns $3,913 to 26 Bettors

LAUREL, MD – There were 26 winning tickets in Friday’s Stronach 5, each returning $3,913.40.

The Stronach 5 started Friday at Laurel Park with a maiden special weight event for 2-year-old fillies that was won by Lookin Dynamic ($17.40), a 7-1 Fitzhugh LLC homebred trained by Michael Trombetta.

After the even-money favorite Itsenough won the second leg from Gulfstream Park, Ed Delaney’s homebred Coast of Roan, a 23-1 longshot trained by Doug O’Neill, won the third leg from Santa Anita Park returning $48.20. The final leg of the sequence, contested as Santa Anita’s fourth race, was won by Rineshaft ($7.40).

• Leg One – Laurel Park 7th Race: Lookin Dynamic $17.40
• Leg Two –Gulfstream Park West 8th Race: Itsenough $4
• Leg Three –Santa Anita 3rd Race: Coast of Roan $48.20
• Leg Four – Laurel Park 8th Race: Rip Rap Riley $7.60
• Leg Five – Santa Anita 4th Race: Rineshaft $7.40

The minimum wager on the multi-race, multi-track Stronach 5 is $1. If there are no tickets with five winners, the entire pool will be carried over to the next Friday.
If a change in racing surface is made after the wagering closes, each selection on any ticket will be considered a winning selection. If a betting interest is scratched, that selection will be substituted with the favorite in the win pool when wagering closes
