Rainbow 6 Carryover Grows to $250,535 for Thursday’s Card
MIAMI GARDENS, FL – The Championship Meet at Gulfstream Park has traditionally been well represented in the Breeders’ Cup, but the year-round program in South Florida will also have a very solid presence at this year’s World Championships at Santa Anita Nov. 1-2.
Based at Gulfstream, Saffie Joseph Jr.-trained Math Wizard has been pre-entered in the $6 million Classic (G1); Joe Orseno-trained Imprimis drew into the field for the $1 million Turf Sprint (G1); and Amador Sanchez-trained Graceful Kitten is pre-entered for the $1 million Juvenile Turf (G1).
Math Wizard, a most fortuitous $25,000 claim during the Championship Meet, has trained at Gulfstream Park during the summer and fall, as has Imprimis, the Silks Run winner during the winter at Gulfstream who shipped to Keeneland to win the Shakertown (G2). Graceful Kitten has won all three of his career starts at Gulfstream, including stakes wins in the Armed Forces and Proud Man Stakes.
Based at Palm Meadows, Gulfstream Park’s satellite training center in Palm Beach County, Patrick Biancone-trained Diamond Oops drew into the field for the $2 million Sprint (G1) and Mark Casse-trained Two Sixty has been pre-entered in the $2 million Juvenile Fillies (G1).
Diamond Oops, who captured the $250,000 Smile Sprint (G3) on the June 29 Summit of Speed card, finished second on dirt in the six-furlong Vanderbilt (G1) at Saratoga and on turf in the Shadwell Mile (G1) at Keeneland in his two most recent starts. Two Sixty captured the $400,000 My Dear Girl, the final of the Florida Sire Stakes series, at Gulfstream in her most recent start.
Bricks and Mortar, the winner of the inaugural $7 million Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational (G1), and Code of Honor, who captured the Fountain of Youth (G2), are prominent names on the list of horses that competed during Gulfstream Park’s 2018-2019 Championship Meet and have been pre-entered in 2019 Breeders’ Cup races.
Chad Brown-trained Bricks and Mortar will seek his sixth straight win without a loss in 2019 in the $4 million Turf (G1), while Code of Honor will vie for his third Grade 1 victory in the $6 million Classic.

Rainbow 6 Carryover Grows to $250,535 for Thursday’s Card
The 20-cent Rainbow 6 continued to elude bettors at Gulfstream Park West Wednesday, going unsolved for the 17th consecutive racing day of the Fall Turf Festival meeting.
A Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot of $250,535.07 will be up for grabs on Thursday’s program.
Multiple tickets with all six winners Wednesday were each worth $14,682.42. The Super Hi 5 carryover will be $17,975.05.
The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
The Rainbow 6 was solved at Gulfstream Park for a $2.2 million jackpot Sept. 27 after going unsolved for 47 consecutive racing days.
