Rainbow 6 Carryover Jackpot Climbs to $591,970
HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved Wednesday at Gulfstream Park, producing a carryover jackpot of $591,970.99 for Thursday’s card.
Tickets with all six winners were each worth $17,278.16 Wednesday.
The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot stood at $543,690 at the start of Rainbow 6 wagering Wednesday, when a total of $201,193 was bet into the multi-race pool.
Thursday’s Rainbow 6 sequence will span Races 5-10.
Who’s Hot: Paco Lopez notched a three-bagger aboard Silvery Enough ($5.80) in Race 1, Min It to Win It ($6.80) in Race 6 and Macho Blue ($5.20) in Race 8.
