LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Friday, March 6, 2020) – Wagering on O Seraphina (#17), a 7 ¼-length maiden winner two weeks ago at Oaklawn Park, has been suspended for the Kentucky Oaks Future Wager, which opens its three-day run Friday at noon (all times Eastern).

O Seraphina, owned in partnership by Scott and Evan Dillworth and Randy and Susan Andrews, has sustained a minor injury according to trainer Joe Sharp.

The defection of O Seraphina leaves the Kentucky Oaks Future Wager with 23 betting interests that features 22 individuals and the Mutuel Field (#24), or “All Others.” The lineup (with betting number and morning line odds): #1 Alta’s Award (50-1); #2 Auberge (20-1); #3 British Idiom (12-1); #4 Donna Veloce (10-1); #5 Edgeway (15-1); #6 Finite (10-1); #7 Frank’s Rockette (12-1); #8 Gingham (20-1); #9 Harvey’s Lil Goil (30-1); #10 Ice Princess (30-1); #11 Lake Avenue (15-1); #12 Lucrezia (30-1); #13 Maedean (30-1); #14 Magic Dance (30-1); #15 Mo City (30-1); #16 Motu (30-1); #17 O Seraphina (SCRATCHED); #18 Spice Is Nice (15-1); #19 Swiss Skydiver (50-1); #20 Tonalist’s Shape (10-1); #21 Turtle Trax (50-1); #22 Venetian Harbor (8-1); #23 Wicked Whisper (15-1); #24 All Other 3-Year-Old Fillies (6-1).

The official rules of the Kentucky Oaks Future Wager do not permit scratches of betting interests or refunds of wagers placed during any of its four pools. Wagering will be suspended on a betting interest in any of the respective pools if Churchill Downs determines that the individual horse will not be able to participate in the Kentucky Oaks because of injury, illness or other circumstance.

The Kentucky Oaks Future Wager will run concurrently with Pool 3 of the Kentucky Derby Future Wager. The Derby future wager closes Sunday at 6 p.m. while the Oaks wager closes a half-hour later at 6:30 p.m.
