Gulfstream Park

Race 6) 1&1/8th Mile. (Turf) Suwannee River S. Grade III. FILLIES AND MARES, FOUR YEARS OLD AND UPWARD.
Post Time: ( 2:36)/ 1:36/12:36/11:36

2) Great Island (Brown/Ortiz, I); gets a class test but Scat Daddy 5-year-old is primed for this shot. Last out a gutsy try came up short to the dangerous Always Shopping; Brown over 20 percent with all conditioning angles in play.

3) La Signare (Walsh/Gaffalione); deserving favorite based on class, but it’s been up and down in her last four starts; a plus in here is jock change back to Gaffalione, who’s been aboard her best efforts.

7) Tiltingatwindmills (Reed/Lanerie); mare out of Kitten’s Joy has strung together three solid starts going one across.

Selections: 2, 3, 7

Oaklawn Park

Race 8) 6 Furlongs. King Cotton S. Purse $150,000 FOUR YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD.
Post Time: 5:40/( 4:40)/ 3:40/ 2:40

2) Seven Nation Army (Moquett/Vazquez); has a sterling Oaklawn record of 9 3-2-1; enters rested for a trainer that knows something about getting sprinters to fire here (Whitmore)!

3) Flagstaff (Sadler/Geroux); placed in last two, both Grade 2 events.

4) Mucho (Ortiz/Talamo); game win here last month, hot work tab with a chance late.

Selections: 2, 3, 4
