SANTA ANITA

Race 7) 1½ Mile. (Turf) SanLsRy-G3 San Luis Rey S. Grade III. Purse $100,000 DOWNHILL TURF FOR FOUR-YEAR-OLDS AND UPWARD
Post Time: 7:25/ 6:25/ 5:25/( 4:25)
ADVANCED FORECAST: Patchy Fog then Mostly Sunny, High 66, Low 45.

2) Masteroffoxhounds (Baltas/Rispoli); War Front colt has the freshest legs as he makes only his tenth start. Winner of two straight, the last a hand urging score in the Grade 2 San Marcos; extended distance not a problem.

3) United (Mandella/Prat); field’s lone millionaire makes his 2021 debut after one of his worst efforts last November in the Breeders’ Cup Turf; hard to overlook his Santa Anita turf record of (9 4 – 2 – 1 $1,142,691).

4) Say the Word (D’Amato/Smith); More Than Ready 6-year-old wasn’t so ready when finishing next to last in the Pegasus World Cup Turf; however he is one across the board at this distance.

Selections: 2, 3, 4
