HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 jackpot pool will be guaranteed at $600,000 Saturday at Gulfstream Park.

The popular multi-race wager has gone unsolved for 11 racing days since a lucky ticketholder broke the jackpot May 29 for a $400,000 payoff.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

There will also be a Super Hi-5 carryover of $6,728.68.

Saturday’s Rainbow 6 sequence will span Races 7-12, including the $75,000 Martha Washington Stakes in Race 11. Trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. has three entrants in the mile turf stakes for 3-year-old fillies – impressive last-out maiden winners Tik Tok Famous and Hana Lima, as well as hard-luck maiden Champagne Ivy.

In Race 10, a mile optional claiming allowance attracted a strong field of six older horses, including graded-stakes winners Sole Volante and Trophy Chaser. Sole Volante, who ran in the Belmont (G1) and Kentucky Derby (G1) last year, returns from a four-month freshening, while Trophy Chaser, who won the 2020 Challenger at Tampa Bay Downs, is slated to come off a 13-month layoff.
