Handicapping: Friday’s Breeders’ Cup Stakes

The 38th edition of racing’s World Championships kicks off from beautiful Del Mar Race Course where the “Turf meets the Surf”. This years Breeders’ Cup will be no different than in past years as it’ll be U.S. based horses against the world. It’ll be an exciting two days of racing, let’s see if we can find some winners.

8) Averly Jane (Ward/Ortiz, J.) – in her first turf start, daughter of Midshipman took a quality Indian Summer field at Keeneland gate-to-wire. Trainer Ward with 2nd grass race starters, 33 percent.
10) Time to Party (Miller/Prat) – bumped at break last out, filly stayed on to miss by less than a length.
9) One Timer (Rivelli/Baird) – Trappe Shot gelding, winner of three straight, was the benefactor of the above mention’s missed break.
11) Derrynane (Clement/Rosario) – swept past a solid stakes field last out at Woodbine.
