Bloom Racing and David Bern’s 3-year-old Midnight Lute colt Chattalot seeks to give trainer Steve Asmussen his seventh win in Fair Grounds Thanksgiving Classic. A field of seven will head to post for the 95th running contested at six furlongs.

Race 8) 6 Furlongs. Thanksgiving Classic S. Purse $175,000 (plus $50,000 ALBSS-Accredited LA Bred Slot Supplement) FOR THREE YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD. Post Time: 4:30/( 3:30)/ 2:30/ 1:30

4) Chattalot (Asmussen/Beschizza); Midnight Lute colt is a perfect 2-for-2 here and a 3-time winner at the distance. Trainer goes for his seventh win of the Classic and should get with a tight photo at the line.

1) Heart Rythmn (Ortiz, J./Gutierrez); in his first last out for the Ortiz barn, Flat Out colt got a textbook pace to run at sitting just off and taking over in stretch for clear win. Trainer angles are solid here buy giving the nod to aforementioned based on that one’s success here winning and placing against strong OC fields going a furlong further. The slight turnback keeos this son of More Than Ready, just that.

2) Ready to Pounce (Pessin/Loveberry); exits a pair of solid efforts at Churchill facing a couple of tough OC field’s. Slight distance turnback keepd this son of More Than Ready just that.

3) Surveillance (Desormeaux/Graham); 5-year-old gelding by Constitution opened his here winning three straight, first on turf. More than fits with these, have to include in exotics.

Selections: 4, 1, 2, 3
