The seventh installment of the Grade 1 Pegasus World Cup will once again feature some of thoroughbred racing’s best. A field of twelve will go to post, each looking for the coveted Grade 1 ring and their share of the $3 million purse; let’s have a look at the field.

Race 13) 1&1/8th Mile. Pegasus World Cup Invitational S.PRESENTED BY BACCARAT. Grade I. Purse $3,000,000 FOUR YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD
Post Time: ( 5:40)/ 4:40/ 3:40/ 2:40

1) Proxy (Stidham/Rosario); Tapit 5-year-old was 2 across feom his six 2022 starts, highlighted by his Grade 1 Clark score; never off the board at this distance.

2) Simplification (Sano/Lopez); hasn’t visited the winner’s circle since his Fountain of Youth win here last March; notch below.

3) Ridin With Biden (Reid/Leparoux; a player at PARX where he’s won 3 of his last 4 starts; 0-for-2 here.

4) White Abarrio (Joseph/Gaffalione); a perfect 4-for-4 here, last win however was Florida Derby back in April. Form is trending upward as he just missed last out in the Clark.

5) Defunded (Baffert/Ortiz, I,Jr.); enters on a 2-race win streak, the Grade 1 Awesome Again and G3 Native Diver; who’s going to overlook a Baffert starter in this contest?

6) Art Collector (Mott/Alvarado); multiple Graded Stakes winner makes his first since a disappointing 5th last out in the Lukas. He is definitly one who allowed loose on the lead the rest may not catch.

7) Skippylongstocking (Joseph/Ortiz, J); Exaggerator colt has won 2-of-3, however both wins, though in Grade 3’s came against lesser.

8) Get Her Number (Miller/Saez); just missed over the slop in the Cigar; still feel a notch under.

9) Last Samurai (Likas/Dettori); 5-year-old may have the “Coach” in his corner but it’ll take more than that to best these.

10) Cyberknife (Cox/Geroux); Gun Runner 4-year-old makes his Swan Song start and couldn’t be in better form; goes out a winner. The pick!

11) Stiletto Boy (Moger/Smith); Cal-shipper is overmatched here.

12) O’Connor (Joseph/Catellano); a winner two back here facing mid-level OC’s; in the Harlan, a well beaten 4th.

ALSO ELIGIBLE:

13) Hoist the Gold (Stewart/Hernandez, B); barn has a way of blowing up exotics.

14) Endorsed (Mkaer/Leparoux); would be a “Rich Strike” type win.
