Training canceled at Belmont Park

OZONE PARK, N.Y. – The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) has canceled live racing on Saturday at Aqueduct Racetrack, as well as morning training at Belmont Park, due to arctic temperatures forecast to impact the New York metropolitan throughout the day.

Aqueduct Racetrack will remain open for simulcasting on Saturday and online wagering is available through www.NYRABets.com. Saturday’s feature race, the Listed $150,000 Interborough, will be brought back Saturday, January 27 with entries to be taken Wednesday, January 24.

Live racing is scheduled to resume on Sunday at the Big A with a nine-race card featuring the $100,000 Rego Park in Race 4. First post is 12:20 p.m. Eastern.
