Belmont Stakes Racing Festival tickets on sale February 15

No change to Belmont Stakes Day general admission pricing from 2023

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) today announced that general admission tickets, hospitality offerings and reserved seats for the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival at historic Saratoga Race Course will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Eastern on Thursday, February 15.

Tickets may be purchased at BelmontStakes.com/tickets, with advance pre-sale opportunities available by signing up at BelmontStakes.com/pre-sale.

Highlighted by the 156th edition of the Belmont Stakes on Saturday, June 8, the 2024 Belmont Stakes Racing Festival will begin on Thursday, June 6 and continue through Sunday, June 9. The four-day Festival will be held at Saratoga Race Course for the first time to allow for the uninterrupted construction of a new Belmont Park, the Long Island home of the third leg of the Triple Crown.

The 2024 Festival will include 23 stakes races with purses totaling $10.1 million, the highest purse levels and number of stakes offered since the launch of the multi-day Belmont Stakes Racing Festival in 2014.

“The 2024 Belmont Stakes Racing Festival will be a four-day celebration of world class thoroughbred racing at the sport’s most historic and exciting venue,” said NYRA President & CEO David O’Rourke. “NYRA is thrilled to be able to host a Triple Crown event at Saratoga Race Course, and we look forward to presenting a memorable edition of the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival from June 6-9.”

Beginning February 15, and while supplies last, a four-day general admission pass will be available for $90, representing a savings of 10 percent. In addition to the multi-day pass, single day admission will be available for the 2024 Belmont Stakes Racing Festival.

General admission on both Thursday and Sunday will be $10, which is the standard walk-up GA price during the Saratoga summer meet. General admission will be $30 on Friday, June 7, when day two of the Festival will include three Grade 1 events among four stakes races in total. General admission on Belmont Stakes Day will be $50, which is unchanged from the 2023 Belmont Stakes Day general admission price at Belmont Park. The blockbuster Belmont Day program will include six Grade 1 events among nine stakes races in total.

Admission for children ages 4 to 12 will be $20 on Belmont Stakes Day and $10 on Friday, June 7. Admission is free for children 12 and under on Thursday and Sunday of the Festival.

As is the case throughout the summer meet, general admission tickets will provide fans with access to the backyard, picnic tables and apron. Reserved picnic tables will be available for purchase in the picnic paddock area. In order to more equitably distribute tables within this popular area, NYRA will institute a random drawing at no additional cost for fans interested in securing reserved picnic tables.

While the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival will be temporarily relocated to Saratoga, the on-track policies will reflect many protocols ordinarily in place at Belmont Park. Accordingly, alcoholic beverages will not be permitted to be carried into the venue. However, fans attending this year’s event may carry in coolers containing food and non-alcoholic beverages to align with the time-honored tradition at Saratoga.

These on-track policies are strictly limited to the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival. There will be no change to the picnic policies for alcoholic beverages and coolers during the 40-day Saratoga summer meet that begins on Thursday, July 11.

Daily capacity for the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival at Saratoga will be 50,000 fans, which is standard for the summer meet. In recent years, and following the construction of UBS Arena, the capacity of Belmont Park has also been 50,000 fans.
