Gulfstream’s Rainbow 6 Estimated Pool Wednesday $300,000

Mandatory Payout Sunday, March 16 Could Reach $3 Million

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – Racing resumes Wednesday at Gulfstream Park’s Championship Meet with a $300,000 estimated pool in the 20-cent Rainbow 6 and a mandatory payout Sunday that could reach $3 million.

First race post Wednesday is 12:50 ET.

The Rainbow 6 sequence Wednesday begins with Race 4, a maiden claimer at a mile and 70 yards on the Tapeta. It also includes two turf races, both maiden claimers, and a 6 ½ furlong allowance optional claimer for fillies and mares.

Gulfstream’s week of racing includes the return of 2023 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) winner and 2024 Kentucky Oaks (G1) runner-up Just F Y I and Black-Eyed Susan (G2) winner Gun Song. Saturday’s program includes the $115,000 Captiva Island for fillies and mares on the turf and the $115,000 Hutcheson Stakes for 3-year-olds, while Sunday’s feature will be the $115,000 Any Limit for 3-year-old fillies.

If there is not a unique winning ticket on the Rainbow 6 through Saturday, Sunday’s mandatory payout of the Rainbow 6 is expected to have a pool estimated at $3 million. The Sunday sequence will include the Any Limit and three turf races.
