There are many questions surrounding the 151st Running of the Kentucky Derby with the most obvious being “Who Ya Like”? Today along with the esteemed ladies of the Gretna Jockey Club we’ll put picks to paper or screens.
In a previous post ,still on website, I gave my thoughts on the 20, now 19 starters and though with the scratch of (4) Rodriquez and the addition of (21) Baeza, (10) Grande is also a scratch little has changed in my opinion. So here’s who we like.
On a bit of a sidebar given the recent scratches, our paddock correspondent and fashion influencer Kelly Rae Coroy fell in the backstretch (her porch) injuring her ankle and the though the outlook appeared bleak the Tracksideview medical staff thought putting her down was a bit much; anyway onto the picks.

Race 12) Kentucky Derby presented by Woodford Reserve. Post Time (06:57PM) EDT

My selections:
8) Journalism -the one to beat
9) Burnham Square -showed what in takes in Blue Grass
18) Sovereignty -will love extra ground
7) Luxor Cafe -he’ll factor in exotics
