Secret Faith, Not On Herb, and Letmikefigureitout Finish On Top Trio of Stakes at Fair Grounds
NEW ORLEANS (Nov. 22, 2025) – Saturday’s statebred stakes action at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots featured three standout performances, as Secret Faith in the Caldwell and Not On Herb in the Ney each padded their stakes resume, and Letmikefigureitout scored his first added money title in the Morreale.
Norman Stables’ sensational 3-year-old Secret Faith overcame a tardy break to run down Six String and win the $100,000 Delmar R. Caldwell by 2½ lengths. Trained by Jayde Gelner and ridden by C.J. McMahon, she hopped at the start and trailed her four foes early before unleashing a memorable stretch run.
Secret Faith paid $4.20, $2.60 and $2.40. With a career record of 13-10-1-0 and $606,022 in earnings, the Caldwell is her ninth stakes title.
Crusaders Stable’s Not On Herb won the $100,000 Andrew Ney Memorial in similar fashion to how he won last meet’s Palmisano. Trained by David Terre and ridden by Paco Lopez, the 5-year-old pressed the front-running Geaux Sugar from the outside, bid in the stretch and edged clear in the final sixteenth.
Not On Herb returned $12, $4.40 and $3.60. His lifetime record now stands at 19-9-1-3 with a bankroll of $399,470.

Breaking sharply and setting a comfortable pace under Devin Magnon, Blue Ridge Racing’s homebred Letmikefigureitout disposed of Hay Jude and held off all late challenges to win the $100,000 Jacob V. Morreale by 2½ lengths. Good and Stout ran second and He’s Late Again finished third.
Letmikefigureitout paid $9.60, $5.80 and $5.40. Notching his first stakes title, he now has a career résumé of 10-6-2-0 with $162,020 in earnings.
Racing returns on Thursday and the 10-race holiday card is headlined by the 101st running of the $175,000 Thanksgiving Classic. First post is noon CT
