OZONE PARK, N.Y. – Making her first start in New York since finishing fifth in the Interborough on January 22, Cheyenne Stables’ Clothes Fall Off will look to improve off a third-place running in the Grade 2 Barbara Fritchie when she faces a talented field of seven runners in the $125,000 Correction for fillies & mares 4-years-old and up at six furlongs on Saturday at Aqueduct Racetrack.

A 5-year-old daughter of Daaher under the care of trainer Kiaran McLaughlin, Clothes Fall Off took the 2016 edition of the Correction, her only win at the distance, in a campaign that included a second-place running in the Barbara Fritchie before ending her season with a eighth-place finish in the Grade 1 Madison Stakes at Keeneland, both at seven furlongs.

Drawing post 3 for her third start the year, Clothes Fall Off will be ridden by Rajiv Maragh.

Lady Shelia Stables’ Hot City Girl, who also started her season in the Interborough, where she fared better than Clothes Fall Off, finishing third, returned to the Big A on February 18 where she captured the Broadway in impressive fashion to win by 1 ¼ lengths.

The 5-year-old mare by City Zip, will retain the services of Manny Franco as the pair leave from post 5.

Looking to hit the wire first after finishing second in her last three starts is Disco Chick for trainer Mario Serey, Jr. and owner Yaroslaw Kolybabiuk. Most recently, the 6-year-old mare lost by a neck in the Interborough after lunging at the start to be nailed at the wire. With five wins from 23 starts at the distance and nine seconds, Disco Chick will leave from post 2 with Angel Arroyo in the irons.

Trainer and owner David Jacobson will saddle Jet Majesty, co-owned by Final Turn Racing Stable. Claimed in December 2016, the 6-year-old daughter of Raffie’s Majesty has made four starts for her new connections most recently finishing second in the Broadway to Hot City Girl.

With Cornelio Velasquez aboard, Jet Majesty will leave from post 7.

Rounding out the field is Kalabaka for trainer Rick Violette, Jr. and Mamatas Racing Stable, entering off a pair of optional-claiming victories Aqueduct and Parx; Splendid Gold for owner and trainer Bruce Levine who last out ran fourth in the Broadway; and Ultimate Holiday for trainer Michelle Nevin and Bloom Racing stable who won an optional-claiming race at Aqueduct by 8 ¾ lengths last time out on February 20.
