Friday’s Rainbow 6 Carryover Jackpot Swells Over $1 million
Dubai Simulcasts Set for 8 a.m. Start Saturday
HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 will have a carryover jackpot of $1,010,856 Friday after Gulfstream Park’s popular multi-race wager went unsolved for the 20th consecutive program Thursday.
Multiple tickets with all six winners Thursday were each worth $190.42.
The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot is paid out only when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
Thursday’s Rainbow 6 offered a carryover of $937,826, triggering a $304,326 handle on the six-race sequence that spanned Races 5-10.
The Rainbow 6 was last solved Feb. 23, when a unique ticket was worth a $324,179.78 jackpot payoff.
