Race 11), 1„ Mile. G1 Longines Kentucky Oaks Grade I. Purse $1,000,000 FOR FILLIES, THREE YEARS OLD Post Time: ( 6:12)/ 5:12/ 4:12/ 3:12

Since 1999 winners and participants of the Fair Grounds Oaks have found the path to the Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks winners circle eight times, and today’s 143rd edition will be no exception as Coffeepot Stables, Malibu Moon filly Farrell (7) should continue the tradition of such notable fillies as Proud Spell, Rachel Alexandra and Untapable.

New Orleans native Wayne Catalano’s charge will have to repulse the pressure of a pair of graded stakes winners in Paradise Woods (4), who exits one of the most dominating performances in blistering the Grade 1 Santa Anita Oaks, and winner of five straight Miss Sky Warrior (10).

Rain has been falling in the Louisville area for several hours so track conditions should fall into the “off-going” category so add the Bill Mott conditioned Lockdown (2) to complete your superfecta plays; Good Luck to all.

Selections: 7, 4, 10, 2
