Rainbow 6 Carryover Jackpot Climbs to $1.34 Million for Friday
By David Joseph —-
HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved for the 30th consecutive racing day at Gulfstream Park Thursday, producing a carryover jackpot of $1,344,572 for Friday’s program.
Tickets with all six winners Thursday were each worth $1,166.22.
A total of $219,061 was wagered into the Rainbow 6 Thursday, when betting on the popular multi-race wager started with a carryover jackpot of $1,292,010.71.
The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
Friday’s Rainbow 6 sequence will span Races 4-9.
