Saratoga

Race 9) Grade 3 With Anticipation Stakes INNER TURF 1&1/16th 2YO Post Time 5:06 EDT

1) Tuggle (Englehart/Ortiz, J.); has had success on the off go and may get just that; finished third last out in the G2 Saratoga Special but don’t feel the stretch out and the lawn are his calling.

2) Our Country (Weaver/Franco); delivered as the race fave last out here, makes third start of the meet; major player.

3) Fly Fly Away (Clement/Ortiz, I.); got up by a nose last out sprinting, that effort came against NY-breds; in tough against these.

4) Fighting Seabee (McPeek/Hernandez, B.); enters off debut win against strong Ellis Park company; solid work tab in prep for this.

5) Eagerly (Pletcher/Velazquez); American Pharoah colt’s debut effort showed a solid late run, it just came up short. Second starters and several other condition angles in play here.

6) Jack the Ripper (Stidham/Rosario); French-bred colt makes North American debut after breaking maiden in native country; like this one in the exotics mix.

7) Andesite (Cox/Castellano); trainer Cox has brought only his “A” listers to this meet and after this one’s debut win he’ll be one.

8) Field Pass (Maker/Saez); maiden win here last month was second strong outing, makes his third in this; top pick.

Selections: 8, 7, 2, 6
