Saratoga

Race 9) 1&1/16th Mile. (Turf) P. G. Johnson S. G. JOHNSON S.. Purse $100,000 FOR FILLIES TWO YEARS OLD
Post Time: ( 5:18)/ 4:18/ 3:18/ 2:18 ADVANCED FORECAST: Patchy Fog then Mostly Sunny, High 78, Low 56.

1) Lucky Jingle (Motion/Maragh); debuted here for third then shipped down to Laurel where she wired the field in class drop, climbing back up the class ladder is tough.

2) Sunset Promise (Maker/Saez); has shown steady improvement each time out; exits a solid score over Gulfstream maidens; look for continuing forward move.

3) Ginseng (Cox/Castellano); Tiznow filly was much the best taking down Indy fillies earlier this month; major class test but barn is a monster in these spots.

4) Apurate (Pletcher/Velazquez); clearly second best in turf debut here on the 11th, a paceless contest; look for the same scenario in this.

5) Lively Kitten (Velazquez/Adorno); enters on 2-race win streak; will be the one to catch.

6) Crystalle (Kimmel/Rosario); rolling from last she drifted in late and was DQ’ed out of her maiden win, but she was rolling; look for her to do the same here.

7) English Breeze (Donk/Franco); English Channel daughter was a textbook winner over NY fillies here in debut; open company test today won’t be a problem.

8) Sweet Melania (Pletcher/Ortiz, J.); delivered as race fave last month; working quickly for stakes debut.

Selections: 6, 2, 3, 5
